HSSC PGT Sanskrit Recruitment 2021: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has declared to restart the online registration process for Sanskrit PGT H.E.S.II (GroupB Services) posts from May 19. The HSSC recruitment will fil 534 vacancies.
The online registration process will be re-open from May 24 to June 9, 2021. So, all the interested candidates who have not applied yet can now apply for the HSSC job. You can apply through the direct link below as no offline application form would be accepted by HSSC.
The recruitment notification was originally released on February 11 but the dates for the different processes have been postponed repeatedly due to the Covid-19 situation.

HSSC PGT Salary :
In the pay matrix level-8 (Rs. 47,600-1,51,100).
HSSC PGT Sanskrit Education Qualification :
- Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matriculation or Higher.
- Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/ School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) of concerned subject.
- “Good Academic Record” Candidates having 50% marks after taking average of any three examination from 10th/12th /Graduation/Post Graduation as the case may be. However the candidate must have at least 50% marks in Post-Graduation except PGT Computer Science and in case of PGT Computer Science, the candidate must have at least 55% marks in Post Graduation/Graduation as the case may be.
- “M.A. Sanskrit/Acharya with at least 50% marks and B.Ed./Shiksha Shastri/Language Teachers Course (L.T.C.)/ Oriental Training (O.T.) in Sanskrit from a recognized university or conducted by the Haryana Education Department or an equivalent qualification recognized by Haryana Education Department.
- The candidates should possess Matriculation or Higher with Hindi/Sanskrit as one of the subjects.
- Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) of the concerned subject.
- M.A. Sanskrit/Acharya with at least 50% marks and Bed/Shiksha Shastri/Language Teachers Course (LTC)/ Oriental Training (OT) in Sanskrit.

HSSC PGT Criteria :
Candidates will need to appear for a 90-mark written exam while 10 marks are allotted for socio-economic criteria and experience.
HSSC PGT Sanskrit Syllabus :
Reasoning – It will include the question of both verbal and non-verbal type. Question will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, problem-solving, relationship, arithmetical computation, and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, relationship concepts and Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, etc.
Maths – The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.
Science – These tests are designed to test the knowledge and competencies for scientific methodology concepts, principles, techniques and physics, chemistry, life sciences (Biology), the earth/space sciences, technologies, etc.
English & Hindi – Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One-word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Rearrangement, Comprehension Passage.
Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience
The 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience shall be allocated as follows:
a. if neither the applicant nor any person from among the applicant’s family viz father, mother, spouse, brother, and Son is, was or has been a regular employee in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/Authority of Government of Haryana or any other State Government or Government of India. (5 marks)
b. if the applicant is:-
(i) a widow; or
(ii) the first or the second child and his father had died before attaining the age of 42 years: or
(iii) the first or the second child and his father had died before the applicant had attained the age of 15 years,”. (5 marks)
c. If the applicant belongs to such a denotified tribe (Vimukt Jatis and Tapriwas Jatis) or Nomadic tribe of the State of Haryana which is neither a Scheduled Caste nor a Backward Class. (5 marks)
d. Experience:
One-half (=0.5) mark for each year or part thereof exceeding six months of experience, out of a maximum of sixteen years, on the same or a higher post in any Department/Board/Corporation/Company/Statutory Body/Commission/
Authority of Government of Haryana. No marks shall be awarded for any period of fewer than six months.
(A maximum of 8 marks)
Note:- No applicant shall be given more than 10 marks for socio-economic criteria and experience under any circumstances.

The 90 marks of written examination shall be divided into two parts comprising:-
a) 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science,Computer, English, Hindi and concerned or relevant subject, as applicable.
